Traveling Trunks: The Living Heritage Museum currently provides nine Traveling Trunks to educators throughout McMinn County to use in addition to their class work by integrating the study of American history using artifacts, historical photographs, books, videos, and hands-on activities that can be adapted for any grade level.

Cost is $10 for two weeks.

In-Classroom Programs-On-site school programs on a variety of subjects have been given by the Living Heritage Museum.  Each year programs are given on subjects ranging from pioneer life to art history to quilts. Programs are offered from the middle of October to the end of April and take place in the museum galleries and classroom.
